Questions

Is my ebook uploaded?

No. The file is read and converted inside your browser tab and is never sent to a server. There is no sign-up.

Why will my book not convert?

Books bought from a store are often locked with DRM, and that protection is not removed here. Books you own without DRM, such as public-domain EPUBs and files you made yourself, convert normally.

Will the fonts and layout match my ebook reader?

No. An ebook reflows text to fit the screen. The PDF uses one standard font on A4 pages, so line breaks are new. Headings, paragraphs, bullets and pictures are kept.
