Low, medium or high compression
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image and you get up to three smaller versions, each with its size. Low compression keeps the most detail, high compression gives the smallest file, and medium sits between. Download the one that suits you.
Compress an image to 20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB
Forms for exams, jobs and visas often limit the size of a photo or signature. Every version shows the common limit it fits under. For an exact limit, type it under the results and press Make it fit. The size is added to the name of the file you download.

Questions
Which compression level should I pick?
Low compression keeps the most detail. Medium is a good default for email and chat. High gives the smallest file, for upload forms with a tight limit. Each version shows its size, so pick the largest one that fits your limit.
Can I compress a photo or signature to 20 KB, 50 KB or 100 KB?
Yes. Type the limit under the results and press Make it fit. The image is made smaller step by step until it goes under that size.
Which image types can I use?
JPG, PNG and WebP. The result is always a JPG, which is what most upload forms ask for. A see-through background becomes white.
Does the image get smaller in width and height?
Only when needed. Very large photos are scaled down, and a tight limit may need a smaller picture. Each version shows its width and height in pixels.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is compressed inside your browser tab and never sent to a server. There is no sign-up and no watermark.
Privacy
