Sensitive Info Finder

Scan a PDF for emails, phone numbers, and other patterns that often shouldn't be shared publicly — before you post or send the file.

🔒 Your files stay on your device The PDF is read and scanned locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
⚠️ This is a finder, not a redactor. It reports what pattern-based matches it finds so you can review them yourself — it does not modify or remove anything from your PDF. Pattern matching can miss things or flag false positives, so treat this as a helpful first pass, not a guarantee.

Scanning…

How this works

The tool reads the text of your PDF inside this browser tab and looks for things such as email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers. Scanned pages are read too, but more slowly and less exactly, so check those results yourself.

It looks for known formats, so it can miss things. Treat it as a helpful first pass, not a guarantee.

🤖 Use this tool from an AI agent (WebMCP)

This page offers 1 tool that an AI agent running in the browser can call directly, without clicking through the page. A call runs in your tab like the buttons do, and nothing is uploaded. These tools work on text the agent passes in. An agent cannot read the PDF or photo you load on this page.

How to turn it on and try it

  1. Use Chrome 149 or later on a computer. TinyPDF.in is enrolled in Chrome's WebMCP trial, so there is nothing to switch on.
  2. Keep this page open and open the console (F12, then Console).
  3. Paste this:
const tools = await document.modelContext.getTools();
const tool = tools.find(t => t.name === 'find_sensitive_info_in_text');
await document.modelContext.executeTool(tool, JSON.stringify({
  "text": "Mail asha@example.org, card 4111 1111 1111 1111"
}));

In other browsers the page works as usual and offers no agent tools. Examples for every tool and what they return
