The name TinyPDF.in, the logo, the text of every page and guide, the page designs, the images and diagrams, and the code we wrote for the tools are ours, or are used with the permission of the people who own them. Copyright law protects them, in India and in other countries.
Visiting the site, or using a tool, does not give you ownership of any of this. You get a limited right to use the site as described below.
What you may do
- Use the tools. You may use every tool for your own purposes, including at work, as long as you follow this page.
- Keep your results. The files, text and data you put in, and what comes out, remain yours. We do not claim any rights over them.
- Link to us. You may link to any page of this website, including from your own site, a document or a message.
- Quote briefly. You may quote a short extract from a page or guide if you name TinyPDF.in as the source and link back to the page.
- Print for yourself. You may print or save a page for your own reference.
What you may not do
Without our written permission, please do not:
- copy, republish, translate or redistribute the pages, guides, text, images or designs of this website, in whole or in large part;
- copy the website’s own code, or the way a tool works, to build a competing site or product, or sell or pass it on as your own;
- mirror the site, or show our pages inside a frame on another site;
- scrape or crawl the site in bulk, or use automated means that load the site more heavily than a normal visitor would (ordinary search engines are fine);
- remove or change a copyright notice, or present our work as yours;
- use the name TinyPDF.in or its logo in a way that suggests we back you or your product;
- reverse engineer the parts we wrote, except where the law allows it or where an open-source licence gives you that right.
Use it lawfully
These tools are for ordinary, legitimate work. You agree not to use the website to do anything that is against the law, and in particular not to:
- process files or data that you have no right to use, or that you obtained illegally;
- break or get around a password, watermark or other protection on a document that you do not own, or have no permission to change;
- forge, alter or fake a document, a record or an identity in order to deceive someone;
- collect, expose or misuse other people’s personal information, for example by using the privacy tools to find it so you can harm or harass them;
- infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- send or create malware, spam or content that is unlawful, abusive or harmful;
- attack, overload, probe or try to break into the website, its servers or other users’ sessions.
You are responsible for the files and data you use and for what you do with the results. If we find or believe that the site is being misused, we may limit or block access, without notice, and we may pass information to the authorities where the law requires it.
Open-source and third-party software
Some tools are built on open-source software, such as PDF, database, OCR and text libraries. Each of those parts stays under its own licence, and that licence, not this page, sets what you may do with that part. Nothing here takes away a right an open-source licence gives you. The list is on the open-source licences page.
Other names mentioned on this website, such as PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Spring, Graylog, Google, and the names of file formats, belong to their owners. We use them only to say what they are. We are not connected with these companies or projects, and they do not endorse this website.
No warranty, and limits on our responsibility
The tools and guides are provided “as they are” and “as available”, free of charge. We try to keep them accurate and working, but we do not promise that they are free of mistakes, that they will always be available, or that they suit your particular purpose. The guides are for general information and are not professional advice. Check anything important, and keep a copy of your original files.
As far as the law allows, TinyPDF.in is not responsible for loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, this website, including lost files or data, or decisions you make based on a result or a guide. Nothing here limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
